What denotes a engine swap? I'm using the stock block for the frame I am using , they way I see it I did a body swap and not a engine swap, am I correct? I know I full of questions sheesh! ;D

I apologize, I apparently missed posting the most current tech sheet. Hit the web site and grab the correct one.
Let's see if this clears it up a little: In short, an engine swap is defined as "an aftermarket block, or a V8 into a mini/compact truck." If you put in a non-production block you get the point. If you put any V8 into a mini/compact you get the point. You only get penalized once for swap, even if you put an aftermarket V8 block into a mini/compact.
I am not sure off the top of my head how to treat your S-10 body on the full size frame. I am inclined to say it will be considered a full size truck, but not being an official vehicle tech I can't say for sure. I will be speaking with the vice president this weekend and will see what he has to say on the topic.

I spoke with the vice president and he said he does NOT consider a V8 in your full size frame/chassis to be an engine swap. There are caveats to that, like how much of the original full size frame you keep and that you're keeping the entire S-10 Blazer body. A frame chopped down to 6 feet long and a completely gutted Courier cab would probably be a different story.

Nope just shorten the w/b to 108" and bob off the last six or so inched off the back, trim fenders for clearance, the front fenders are bobbed., and the back end of the roof may find it self on the floor too ;D
